Sorenson Video 3 Pro is the professional's choice for delivering high-quality video compression for QuickTime media. It can be used with many popular editing tools including Adobe Premiere, Apple Final Cut Pro and iMovie, and Avid Xpress DV.

Features:

• With Sorenson Video 3, you can get better video quality than Sorenson Video 2 at less than half of the bit rate. Sorenson Video 3 delivers twice the compression speed as Sorenson Video 2 and three times the speed when using Variable Bit Rate (VBR) compression.

• Sorenson Video supports chroma key effects, which allow you to remove a specified color from a video clip so that other video can be inserted in the deleted area.

• Watermarks, such as still images and logos, can be added to a video clip to show identity or to protect content. If a watermark created with Sorenson Video is removed from the compressed video, the video will not play.

• Automatic scene change detection enables the encoder to sense a scene change, produce a key frame, and allocate more resources (bits) to maximize video quality.

• The Sorenson Video compressor analyzes frames before and after the bi-directional frame and then creates and inserts a frame based on the average quality of both. This improves quality and coding efficiency.
