 | PGI Server (Z.Z. liegt die Beschreibung nur in englischer Sprache vor) PGI Server is PGI's flagship scientific and engineering server compiler and tool bundle for multi-user systems and workgroups. PGI Server includes multi-user network floating licenses for all of the PGI compilers, for PGDBG OpenMP Linux graphical debugger (not currently available on Windows 98 / NT / 2000 / XP) and for PGPROF graphical OpenMP Linux performance profiler (command-level only on Windows 98 / NT / 2000 / XP). PGI Server includes all features from both PGHPF Server and PGCC Server. PGHPF Server, The Portland Group's native parallelizing/optimizing FORTRAN 77, Fortran 90 and HPF compilers for 32-bit x86 and 64-bit AMD64 technology Linux and Windows 98 / NT / 2000 / XP servers, provide the features, quality, and reliability you demand for development and maintenance of advanced scientific and technical applications. PGCC Server includes The Portland Group's native parallelizing/optimizing OpenMP C++ and ANSI C compilers for Intel Pentium II/III/4/Xeon, AMD Athlon/AthlonXP and AMD Opteron processor-based workstations and servers (C++ is Linux only). The Linux C++ compiler closely tracks the proposed ANSI standard and is compatible with cfront versions 2 and 3. The PGCC Server compilers are native parallelizing Linux C++ and ANSI C compilers. All C++ functions are compatible with Fortran and C functions, so you can compose programs from components written in all three languages. PGI Server allows you to build, debug and profile parallel HPF, Fortran, C or C++ applications for up to 16 SMP shared-memory processor servers while allowing multiple simultaneous users of the Server products. Features - PGHPF native data parallel compiler with Full HPF language support
- PGF90 native OpenMP and auto-parallel Fortran 90 compiler
- PGF77 native OpenMP and auto-parallel FORTRAN 77 compiler
- PGCC OpenMP and auto-parallel C++ and ANSI/K&R C compilers (C++ is Linux only)
- PGDBG OpenMP Linux graphical debugger (not currently available on Windows 98 / NT / 2000 / XP)
- PGPROF graphical OpenMP Linux performance profiler (command-level only on Windows 98 / NT / 2000 / XP)
- Cray/DEC/IBM compatibility (including Cray POINTERs)
- Supported on Linux86 and Windows 98 / NT / 2000 / XP
- The PGI Server compilers and OpenMP Linux debugger/profiler allow multiple users to compile, debug and profile on any compatible computer networked to the system on which the PGI compilers are installed (a network-floating license). Debugging and profiling are constrained to at most 16 processors or threads. Executables are constrained to use at most 16 processors/threads, and can be executed on any compatible system regardless of whether the PGI compilers are installed.
- Parallel executables generated by PGI's Server-class compilers use up to 16 processors
- UNIX-compatible build/edit environment for Windows 98 / NT / 2000 / XP, including the BASH shell, vi and EMACS editors, make, tar, gzip, sed, grep, awk, and over 100 other shell commands!
- Fortran 95 extensions
- Pentium II/III/4/Xeon and AMD Athlon/AthlonXP optimizations including SSE/SSE2 and prefetching where supported in hardware
- AMD Opteron optimizations including SSE/SSE2, prefetching, use of extended register sets, and 64-bit addressing
